Disclaimer: JCC is an imaginary, advanced crisis committee where the council is split into exactly two blocs. Delegates must strive to persuade at least one delegation in the other bloc to vote for its resolution in order for the resolution to pass. As the debate progresses, the Chair can announce crisis updates, or (imaginary) news, that either further heat the debate between two blocs or weaken the ties between a certain bloc, causing them to argue with themselves. Blocs can request meetings in a separate room to evaluate their strategies of attack or resolve issues within themselves to appear as a unified front in the main conference room.
The mandate reads as follows: The JCC was founded on October 6, 1973. It was founded after the start of the Yom Kippur / 6th October war, because the UN could not find a way to end the conflict as they could not add Egypt and Israel to the UNSC, so the JCC was formed. The JCC works toward the following goals:
To maintain peace
To give every nation an equal voice
To mediate in negotiations between warring nations
